The Inn on the Lake and the Glenridding Hotel provide a wide range of meals to residents and non-residents alike.

THINGS TO DO
Set on Ullswater, you can take a trip on an Ullswater Steamer, vessels which date from the 1800s. Perhaps set sail on the water in a yacht.

At the base of Helvellyn, you can walk to the top for some of the best views in Cumbria. There are plenty of shorter (and easier) walks close to the water.

Glenridding is at the base of Kirkstone Pass, a great Cumbrian drive.
